Bosch ranges use numeric codes (E011, E115, E305) that reference specific circuits — ignition, oven temperature sensing, or burner valve control. Gas and electric models share some code numbers but with different meanings, so always confirm your fuel type before troubleshooting.
Surface-burner ignition failures (E011–E014) are the most frequent. A wet igniter or food debris around the electrode is usually the cause. Clean the igniter tip with a dry brush and test again before calling for service.
Oven codes in the E1xx and E3xx ranges typically indicate a faulty temperature sensor or relay on the control board. These components sit behind the back panel and require disassembly — schedule a repair with our certified range technicians. Service available in all 50 states.
